Types of weather and seasons in India
DIFFERENT TYPES OF WEATHER
Types of weather include sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, and snowy. One of the most significant factors that affects weather is air masses. Air masses cause warm, cold, stationary, and occluded fronts.
Hot and sunny days :
On a sunny day, the sun shines brightly. The weather is hot. We wear light cotton clothes to keep our body cool.
We drink a lot of water. April, may and June are the hot months of the year. This season is called summer.
Cold days
When the sun doesn't shine brightly, we feel cold. We wear woollen clothes to keep us warm.
we want to drink hot drinks. December, January and February are the cold months of the year. This season is called spring.
Rainy days
When the sky is not clear and it starts raining, it is called a rainy day. It is also called monsoon.
After the rain stops sometimes we can see a rainbow in the sky. June, July and August are the rainy months of the year. This season is called winter.
Windy days
When the air blows, it is called wind. Warm winds blow during the summer and cold winds blow during the winter.
During windy days, leaves fall from trees. The season with windy days is also called autumn.
