Structure of tooth
A tooth is fixed to the gum by its root. The portion of tooth seen above the gum is called the crown. The portion just below the crown and above the root is known as neck. The outer cover of the tooth is very hard. This is called enamel. Below the enamel lies the dentine.
This is also quite hard like a bone. The soft material inside the dentine is called pulp. This is soft and has blood vessels and nerves in it. Our tooth get nourishment through the pulp.Kinds Of Teeth
